DIY Summer Treats for Your Pets: Cool and Refreshing Recipes to Beat the Heat

One way to keep your pets happy and cool is by treating them to homemade summer snacks that are not only delicious but also nutritious. Here are some DIY summer treat recipes and ideas that your pets are sure to love:

Frozen Yogurt Treats:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plain yogurt (avoid sweetened or flavored varieties)
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds.

Watermelon Popsicles:

Ingredients:

  • Spoon small amounts of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze for a few hours or until solid.
