The Healthy Pets team is dedicated to providing the best care for your pets because we know that your pet is a member of your family.

• Surgery
  We offer the most advanced surgical techniques. All patients are assessed the day of surgery and anesthetics are chosen based on your pet's specific needs. Our fully trained staff monitors each patient at all times ensuring maximal safety throughout the procedure and post operatively.
• Laser surgery
  Lasers are used in place of scalpels for a wide range of surgical procedures, resulting in less pain, minimized blood loss, and a more comfortable recovery.
• Ultrasonography
  Soft tissue evaluation can be achieved through ultrasonic evaluation. Internal images help diagnose and avoid surgical exploration. This technology is routinely used to view abdominal organs and for echogardiograms to evaluate the heart. We share images and consult with veterinary specialists in all major disciplines.
• Dental Care
  Good oral health plays an important role in the complete health of your pet. Through ultrasonic scaling, plaque and tartar can be removed to keep teeth healthy and pain free. With the help of dental radiographs, we can assess bone disease and prevent unnecessary extraction of teeth.
• Digital Radiology
  Radiographs (x-rays) are performed in-house to help aid in prompt diagnosis and evaluation of a variety of conditions. Gastrointestinal, cardiopulmonary, urinary, reproductive and musculoskeletal conditions can be evaluated. We also offer consultation with board certified veterinary radiologists.
• In-house Pharmacy
  We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field. In addition, you can request refills and order your medications online.

• Endoscopy
  Fiber optics allows direct visual examination of your pet's esophagus, stomach, small intestines and colon by use of an endoscope. This can aid in obtaining biopsy samples and evaluating tissue. It has even been used to extract small objects from the esophagus and stomach when accidentally ingested.
• Physical Rehabilitation offered by Central Ohio K9 Rehabilitation
  Located inside Healthy Pets of Wedgewood, Central Ohio K9 Rehabilitation offers a complete therapeutic approach to physical rehabilitation. Our individually tailored programs take into account your pet’s needs to safely return them to their active lives. We offer hydrotherapy, physical rehabilitation, low level laser treatment, pain management, nutritional guidance and reiki to help your pets get the most out of life. We can help small animals with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic or muscular issues, arthritis and neurologic disorders. In addition we offer a comprehensive weight management program that includes a customized exercise program and nutrition counseling.
• Birds, Ferrets, Rabbits, and Pocket Pets
  In addition to providing care for your dog and cat, several of our veterinarians have knowledge and experience with a number of other species. Providing information in regards to health, nutrition and environmental management can result in longer, healthier lives for these pets.
• Hospice/ End of Life Care
  It is never easy to see our beloved pets' quality of life decline. Our staff is whole heartedly dedicated to providing compassionate care in your pet's final moments. Whether that means providing pain management, helping you make decisions at this difficult time or just being there to support your through your pet’s final journey, we take the time to cater to your family's needs.
• Microchipping
  Administering this tiny chip below the skin can help reunite your pet with you in the unfortunate circumstance of being separated from your pet. Shelters and vet offices nationwide scan lost pets for these chips and a simple phone call can identify the animal's owner.

  Our groomers provide compassionate, caring grooming services for both dogs and cats. They offer breed standard cuts and those based on personal preference. We would be happy to help keep your pets looking their best. Please contact your local Healthy Pets location to make an appointment.

• Kennels

  

  Our boarding facility includes full size dog kennels to accomodate your pets while you are out of town. We also have a quiet separate cattery for our feline friends.

• Suites

  

  Our Wedgewood and Lewis Center locations offer large suites with all glass fronts and abundent natural light.
